Line-up
-
Jam & Meme
JAM & MEME have become something of a Cornish cult-legend. Gaining insane popularity by dazzling the internet with Cornish memes on their tongue-in-cheek social media page, their remit extends from social commentary and comedy on the county's biggest news, to raucous drum and bass sets with raving crowds that finish some of the biggest and best festivals on a high. They'll be headlining this evening's entertainment AND they'll be bringing a line-up of special guests along with them.
-

Ben Bowden & The Pards
Ben Bowden & The Pards are a 4-piece Cornish acoustic punk/folk band with a tight live performance and songs with Cornish themes to get you jigging. Fusing a punk rock rhythm section with searing fiddle and melodic vocals with uplifting harmonies, Ben Bowden & The Pards produce Celtic punk-beats that celebrate our heritage, while packing a punch.
-

Mantaraybryn
At the intersection of emotional ballad and experimental alt-pop, is Mantaraybryn. Shifting between lyrics of queer vulnerability and strength, Mantraybryn invites us into his songs, merging quiet honest poems with dancefloor energy that leaves listeners bewitched. Taking inspiration from history, nature, and literature; the end result sees Mantaraybryn as the missing link between Florence and the Machine, Caribou, Foals, and Wham. Often delicate and minimal only to switch to an undiminished roar, Mantaraybryn’s vocals, honest poetry, and synth energy are what sets him apart.
-

Hedluv + Passman
'Doin' it dreckly' since 2007, Casio-rap festival favourites Hedluv + Passman are back in the field, Y-fronts and all. Performing what The Guardian crowned an 'oddly mesmerising' blend of entertaining lyrics and homemade rhythms, Hedluv + Passman have kept crowds smiling at festivals including Leopallooza, Greenman, Boardmasters and The Great Estate, among countless other venues and events. They are one of our favourites for sure, and we firmly recommend getting to the front for this one.
-

Kitty Crocker
Blending sharp-witted lyricism with an indie-pop edge, Kitty Crocker is an up and coming Americana and pop-rock artist whose sound blends relatable storytelling with bold, cinematic hooks. Just 20 years old, Kitty has already released two EPs, with a third in the making. Kitty has played at Boardmasters, supported artists including Tom Hicox and recently headlined her own show in Plymouth.
-

Shanty Bass
Shanty Bass is a group of ex-rugby players turned shanty singers from Falmouth. Bonded by years of battling in the mud, long away days, and plenty of post-match singing, they now let their voices do the heavy lifting. Swapping tackling in the driving rain for harmonies, they'll be bringing a mix of rousing sea shanties, traditional Cornish folk songs, and the occasional surprise crossover. Expect big voices, even bigger hearts, a bit of light-hearted mickey-taking, and toe-tapping tunes you'll love.
-

Elowen
Cornish rising star Elowen is the soulful soundtrack you need for a summer afternoon. Playing live soul music with her signature spine-tingling honey-sweet vocals and uplifting acoustic guitar to accompany, Elowen is exactly the antidote you need for everyday troubles. So grab a drink, sit on the grass in our tree-lined arena, and let her sound carry you away.
-

Peacemaker
Up and coming Cornish producer and pal of Jam and Meme, Peacemaker will be there to get the dancefloor popping until the small hours, with house and garage sounds blending to deep dubstep and hardgroove. His latest on-stage collaborations with Jam and Meme have got the crowd jumping, so set your late-night engines to party mode.
